We used to see the stars at night
We would stare in to the sky and wish upon a satellite
But I can't see the sunrise anymore
Its covered by all these roof tops
With rents a I can't afford
Surviving in the shadows casted down from a class war
I've noticed that the stars won't tell their stories anymore
Nothing ever stays gold
Thats what I'm told
Oh I'm riding through the city where I got grown
Neighborhoods full of houses that I'll never own
I'm not wanted here no more
I'm not wanted here no more
All paintings that used to line the streets
On stores owned by minorities
Have all been painted over and the stores have all been closed
By people unaffected
Who adopt causes just to perform
"Land Back" and "Black Lives Matter" signs
Hang on our stolen doors
I fear the day they come to take my parents home away
For somebody with mom and dad money
Who's moved to town and wants to stake a claim
Pushing the ones I love out on the streets
Where nobody has any empathy
Nobody has any
Oh I'm riding through the city where I got grown
Neighborhoods full of houses that I'll never own
I'm not wanted here no more
I'm not wanted here no more

I got to the party late, but boy am I glad I made it. This album meets, exceeds and challenges all sonic and writing expectations one has of a punk album; poetry set to punk. Definitely the most punk thing I've heard this year. CMRuppert12
Dead Cross, Retox, and Qui members dish out subversive hardcore with an indignant smirk; come for the riffs, stay for the synth experiments. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 31, 2024
Knockout debut from a Buffalo, New York-based hardcore band who like their riffs sick, their drums fast, and their choruses sticky-sweet. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 28, 2024
